OUR STORY
What began as a few friends’ desire to see their own beer listed on their favorite bar’s chalkboard, grew into a passion to bring more community into the steadily growing heart of Toledo. Beer, the great social lubricant, brings people together in real social connection. So many brilliant ideas, bold proposals, and madcap schemes have taken flight when a few people get together to enjoy a pint.
As tradesmen used to working in complex mathematical processes, we know that every detail in brewing affects the flavor of our beer. Everything in our process is done intentionally, from the exact timing of adding hops to the boil, to the water we use, or the exact temperature of fermentation. We are each of us enthusiasts continually sampling new beers. We love to explore new inspirations and bounce ideas off each other, whether it is horehound candy in a Belgian blonde ale, or a stout with a sea captain on the label who travels the world to add new flavor (Oaty McOatface Sails the Caribbean, a stout with vanilla, spices and rum).
REAL COMMUNITY
Our taproom serves a diverse and beautiful community in Downtown Toledo. We have built an environment of real connection that offers an indoor taproom, outdoor beer garden, and private event space. We are open to the public and available for private events and bringing in local music artists.
Craftsmen freed to bring our craft to the highest quality, we are taking our chance on the audacious belief that a business that serves people well, forging authentic relationships will thrive.
